How to replace Hinge Spring. Removed two screws for the bottom access panel and two screws on the underside of the countertop. This allowed the dishwasher to be moved forward approximately 3 inches to access the spring location. There was no need to disconnect power or water. Tilting the top of the washer forward allowed additional room to hook the top of the spring to the hinge pin.
