The flapper valve was included in the assembly, so I did not need to order that. On previous repairs, the old drain hose was tricky to reinstall, so I replaced it and the hose clamp.The silverware basket had holes in the bottom and required replacement. Daniel P Odenton , MD November 14, 2014 Replacement of lower dishrack and drain hose Dish rack simply replaced the rusted out one we had been using. No issues here. Replacement of the drain hose was a little more involved. But it went well although I noted that the replacement hose was just a bit shorter than the one I replaced. It did require turning off the water supply and disconnecting the water line to the dishwasher. Replacing the drain hose was easy, but getting to the areas to replace the hose required some dexterity. Read More...
