The flapper valve was included in the assembly, so I did not need to order that. On previous repairs, the old drain hose was tricky to reinstall, so I replaced it and the hose clamp.The silverware basket had holes in the bottom and required replacement. Terrence L Whiting , NJ September 19, 2014 Dishwasher not draining Original installer used a regular rubber drain hose. When hot water heated up the hose it collapsed because 1) It was not the correct hose. & 2) It was forced through a small opening in the cabinet wall along with the copper supply line. Two sources of heat combined with the small opening in the cabinet wall caused the no drain situation. I replaced the hose with the corrugated hard plastic hose that comes with the dishwasher, problem solved. I don't know why the original installer did not use the correct hose. Elmer B Haw River , NC May 09, 2018 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher PDW7880J01SS The dishwasher was not drying the dishes and the drain hose had a crack in it I found the parts through the G.E. parts manual and ordered them through Appliance Parts Pros. Replacement of parts was pretty easy with a couple of youtube videos. Parts were delivered promptly and well packaged. All in all about an hour of total time to get the tools together, pull the dishwasher from under the cabinet, and replace the parts. Also cleaned out filter assembly while I had the parts out.
