The flapper valve was included in the assembly, so I did not need to order that. On previous repairs, the old drain hose was tricky to reinstall, so I replaced it and the hose clamp.The silverware basket had holes in the bottom and required replacement. Elmer B Haw River , NC May 09, 2018 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher PDW7880J01SS The dishwasher was not drying the dishes and the drain hose had a crack in it I found the parts through the G.E. parts manual and ordered them through Appliance Parts Pros. Replacement of parts was pretty easy with a couple of youtube videos. Parts were delivered promptly and well packaged. All in all about an hour of total time to get the tools together, pull the dishwasher from under the cabinet, and replace the parts. Also cleaned out filter assembly while I had the parts out. Daniel P Odenton , MD November 14, 2014 Replacement of lower dishrack and drain hose Dish rack simply replaced the rusted out one we had been using. No issues here. Replacement of the drain hose was a little more involved. But it went well although I noted that the replacement hose was just a bit shorter than the one I replaced. It did require turning off the water supply and disconnecting the water line to the dishwasher. Replacing the drain hose was easy, but getting to the areas to replace the hose required some dexterity. Read More...
