Ge WE03X33648 Drive Belt OEM Part

The Dryer is 10 years old GE Front Load DPVH890JEMG. The drum would intermittently not rotate at the beginning of a cycle and occasionally would rotate but then start and stop throughout the cycle. I did not check error codes, but the windings on the motor were black. So it seemed reasonable that the motor was overheating and sending a signal to the control board to stop. There is one screw under the knob and 9 screws on the front to get inside. I decided to replace the bearings, capacitor, belt and slides while I was in there because they were 10 years old and relatively cheap. Everything snapped in pretty easily and now it works. I was really hoping that it wasn't the control board and so far it seems that it wasn't.

I removed old belt. It was very tight to install new belt, but all went well.

Replaced motor however it was a safety switch at the tension pulley.

Installed new switch worked! Once I put it back together the panel was dead no power, thinking I may have pulled a wire off door switch.

Took out parts. Replaced belt and bushing.
