Tim M Yuma , AZ January 13, 2020 Appliance: General Electric Electric Cooktop PP962BM3BB I am an idiot don't be me I broke two of the elements in my GE Profile cooktop because I failed miserably at removing the glass top. It pays to do your research, kiddies. All it takes is a Number 10 Torx bit to remove 12 screws holding the glass to the body of the appliance, and it lifts straight up. I was replacing the glass because it broke during my home's construction. Anyway, you need a 1/4" nut driver to remove the mounting tabs on the bottom of the old element and transfer them to the new one. The whole swap out takes 10-15 minutes or so, including hooking up the wiring. A piece of cake. John F Willis , TX January 19, 2015 Appliance: Model GE RANGETOP Burner element burned out and quit working I went online to see how to trouble shoot it, then got the part number and Googled the number. Three or four sites came up and I compared prices. AppliancePartsPros.com had the part and a good price and reasonable shipping. This was about 3:30 CST on a Wednesday. I had the part at 10:00am Friday and 15 minutes later I had a working Range. Outstanding service, speed and delivery. I highly recommend this site for any appliance parts you need. It could not have been a better experience unless they were next door to me and I could walk over and get the part. Read More...
