Ted A Somerset , NJ November 14, 2016 Lower draw door frame cracked This is the SECOND time I have replaced this part. The first time was due to the plastic draw rails cracking and the draws would not go in and out correctly. This time (the second time) the frame actually cracked in the left rear corner. This is not a real simple part to replace, as getting the 'old' parts out can be tricky. Just let the old frame warm up to room temp before you begin. Have some nice flat blade screwdrivers and rigid putty knives - as you will need these. Getting the center draw guide out is the most tricky. Do the back first, using a flat rigid putty knife to carefully lift the tabs that hold that part in on BOTH top and bottom. You will find having an extra set of hands will help. Lindsay B Katonah , NY June 12, 2017 Broken lower pan fram After reading previous reports about how to replace this piece I was skeptical whether I could fix it without breaking a piece. I was very careful and it took longer than expected (30-60 minutes). There definitely needs to be some instructions or video to help the customer. I did wait for the old frame to warm so it wasn't so rigid and needed just screwdrivers and lots of patience! Removing some of the old pieces like rubber seal and humidity controls was relatively easy if you just look to see how they were placed in old frame. I rated my experience four star because I accomplished what I set out to do! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Screwdrivers

Paul M Moreno Valley , CA May 19, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator PDS22MFSBWW Broken side support for crisper drawer Had to replace bottom shelf and used my existing rubber seals, glass and humidity level knobs. I had difficulty removing the center support drawer guide and broke the part trying to put it on the new shelf, so now I have to order the center support. There are no instructions on how to remove or install these parts so buyer beware. The only problem I had with the replacement part is that there were no printed humidity levels open/closed like on the old one so I have to use a permanent marker to show high/low open closed.
