I watched the short video on how to put it back together and I was done in just a matter of minutes. The video was such a big help. I forgot how the spring went on and was able to watch the video and put it back together in just a matter of minutes. I know I must have saved a couple of hundred dollars on a service call. I had 2 parts that were cracked, so after changing the cracked parts as well as the dispenser switch, it was back to working normally. Klaus D Blaine , WA May 13, 2017 Appliance: Model GSS22JETA WW Water in dispenser would freeze for the last years and we would use a hair dryer to unfreeze it and water would flow again We installed a new Funnel Ice Dispenser and a new Dispenser Housing Shield, upon removal and looking at the both units they were distorted in their shape from repeat use of the Hair Dryer. Reading some of the same complaints from other G.E. owners they said to use a piece of Insulated Material on the inside of the freezer door where the dispenser is located and then try that.
