Description

This door gasket replaces a worn or damaged refrigerator door seal to help restore a tight closure and improve cooling performance. It creates a consistent seal around the door edge to reduce air leaks and frost buildup. What it does:

• Seals the refrigerator/freezer door edge to keep cold air in and warm air out
• Helps prevent frost buildup and condensation inside the compartment
• Reduces compressor run time caused by air leaks around the door
• Often needed when the seal is torn, warped, compressed, or no longer magnets properly

What's included: One door gasket Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any service
• Remove the old gasket by loosening retaining screws or popping out mounting retainer
• Clean the mounting channel of debris and adhesive residue before installing the new gasket
• Align the new gasket around the door, secure the retainer if applicable, and press firmly to seat; warm the gasket with a hair dryer on low if needed to help it conform
