Dorothy L Elgin , IL February 19, 2017 Vent grille had broken tabs Placed the order for a new one and received it very, very quickly! All we did was pop it in place and done! It is supposed to be screwed in but with tabs on top and the bottom it fits very securely. The top tabs were broken off some time ago and it never fell out and now with the top tabs in place without being screwed in it is fine. Did not have to use any tools at all! Read More... Thomas W Dallas , OR April 12, 2015 The grille vent on my microwave was broken when i tried to remove it for cleaning I discovered that two of the retention tabs on the grate are actually retained by screws, and those two tabs were broken when I pried the grate off. I ordered the new part, which fit perfectly, but I had to partially uninstall the over-the-range microwave in order to do so. I loosened the support screws that hold the microwave up and lowered the front of the machine to expose the screws that needed to be removed and replaced.
