Description

This replacement filter bypass adapter lets a refrigerator water line run without a filter cartridge installed, providing a secure connection so the dispenser and ice maker can continue to get water when a filter is removed. What it does:

• Replaces the filter cartridge with a sealed bypass so water flows through the housing without a filter element
• Restores normal dispenser and ice maker flow after removing or bypassing a cartridge
• Prevents leaks at the filter housing when a cartridge is not installed
• Useful when using an alternate filtration system or awaiting a replacement cartridge
