The High Voltage Diode is an OEM replacement part for GE microwaves. It converts the high voltage of the microwave's power supply into a lower voltage suitable for the magnetron. It acts as a one-way valve for electrical current, allowing it to flow in one direction while preventing it from flowing back in the opposite direction.
