Kenneth A Round Rock , TX February 28, 2015 End caps broke ge oven door handle fell off spouse distraught oven ugly and kitchen towel homeless; but food tasted fine 1) Opened package, 2) unwrapped end-caps, 3) broke off guide pieces with pliers, 4) inserted caps in both end of handle, 4) unscrewed 6 Phillip screws to remove oven-door fascia, 4) unscrewed two end-cap retainer bolts with nut driver to release remnants of broken end-caps, 5) re-inserted bolts back through the oven door engaging the new end-caps on each end, 6) tightened bolts while begging the new end-caps not to break, 7) positioned fascia back over the oven door, 8) restored the 6 screws to secure fascia to oven-door. Other tools: 1)upward pointing flashlight, 2) beer Hazards: 1) unscrewing the top three screws before realizing you have to get down on the floor to find the other three screws, 2) getting down on the floor before realizing you can't see screws without a light that points upward, 3) breaking the new end-caps by over-tightening the bolts, 4) groveling on floor while spouse stands, 5) getting up off the floor while spouse laughs. The double oven was given to me but the handles were missing and the end caps so I just had to replace them.
