Kevin W Carmi , IL December 30, 2016 Broken door handle endcap Had to unscrew the bolt on inside of oven door with a T15 torx bit. The inside and outside half of the door will come apart when the bolt is loosened from the endcap. Don't pull these two halves apart. There is a metal spacer on the long bolt you can just leave in place. On the inside of the outer 1/2 of the door, there are two smaller screws holding the endcap on (unless they've broken loose) that you need to take off with a 1/4 socket or wrench. You have to take these off, then the endcap comes off. Put the new endcap where the old one was, connect the two screws and the long bolt in the holes and you're done! I lost one of my inside screws, so I replaced it with a small wood screw. HOPE THIS HELPS! :) Read More... 16 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set, Wrench Set

I completed my cooking with some difficulty with the door and then went to my computer to find the manufacturers replacement part, It would have been cheaper to buy a new stove for this part so I scoured the internet to see if I could just order the broken endcap that had caused the break and went on the ApplicanceParts Pros.com and found exactly what I needed, I ordered the part on line and requested standard delivery. That was early on Friday morning, to my surprise the Fedex truck arrived early Saturday morning with the part. Wow! such efficiency. I was really impressed. I've got my oven door back working and once again, I'm baking Read More... 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
