Ken H Glendale , AZ February 24, 2020 Appliance: General Electric General Electric JB705TT2WW Bent door hinges The oven door was open and the wife fell onto the door. After that, the door would not close all the way and hung lower than it should. I could not tell if it was the hinge or hinge receiver that was bent so I ordered both. When the parts arrived I removed the door by unlatching the hinge and lifting it off the range. the door has 3 screws on the bottom and two at the top. Once the door was separated each hinge has three screws to remove and replace the hinge. Reassembled the door, reinstalled on range, done! Requires Tork bits. I ordered hinges and receivers, but hinges were really easy to install, so did those first - they fixed it! Don't buy the receiver unless you put new hinges in first and they don't fix it, you may save $40-50! You DO NEED Torx bits! Read More...
