Description

This HMI assembly is the freezer control/display interface that lets you view and set freezer temperature and use front-panel functions. Replacing a faulty HMI restores normal display and button response for freezer controls. What it does:

• Provides the user interface (display, touchpad/buttons) for the freezer control functions
• Sends user commands to the refrigerator control system so temperature and modes can be changed
• Commonly fails when the display is blank, unresponsive, or buttons don't register
• Can cause intermittent or incorrect freezer readouts and control behavior when damaged
