Sylvia R Queen Creek , AZ August 02, 2018 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GLD6860N00SS Broken sprayer on middle rack very easy project The middle sprayer sheared off our GE Power 3 dishwasher, ruining the hub in the process. We removed the rack from the dishwasher to make it easier to access the sprayer hub, otherwise it's awkward. The biggest challenge was finding the right tool in our garage (we used a 1/4" wrench as we did not have the right socket size). Once the screw was removed, it was quite easy to remove the hub and attach the new one. The rest was simply attaching the new sprayer to the hub using the included washer and screw and putting the rack back in the dishwasher. It took about ten minutes. The video on the appliancepartspro.com website was very helpful. Unless you simply don't want to bother with It, there's really no reason not to do this yourself and save some money. Lester C Pascagoula , MS September 03, 2018 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GLD5900N00WW Dishwasher was making a clunking noise like something hitting inside when it was running. Determined that the mid spray arm was loose and worn where it spins. Removed the spray arm with a 1/4” socket and ratchet also removed the mid hub with the same tool. Installed the new hub then the spray arm and bearing (stainless steel washer). Simple repair and no more noise. Read More... Geoff S Huntersville , NC November 18, 2021 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GLD6800N00BB Dishwasher approx 13 years old began making noise this past summer. Diagnosed using your on-line videos mentioning this problem. Potential solutions were washer replacement under bottom spray arm (replaced that, but did not solve problem). Then figured it might be middle spray arm under upper shelf. Ordered replacement hub and replacement spray arm, plus replacement clips for two older style self roller-end retainer clips broken during removal of upper shelf. Repairs done in about 20 minutes and shelf re-installed using new design retainer clips (MUCH nicer....and will allow future removal without breakage, it appears). Have done four loads of dishes since repair and ALL without noise now. Machine is working GREAT again. Thanks for having these parts, making your video suggestions on diagnostics, and shipping parts so quickly!! Regards, G.S. Huntersville, NC Read More...
