Frederick S Cumming , GA October 19, 2019 Appliance: Model GFE28GSKSS GE GFE28GSKSS frig with ice maker in door no ice Ordered valves and new ice maker. Couple sites mentioned problem could be ice in the waterline and to make sure temps be set to 37 in frig and 0 in freezer. I had adjusted temps to these the day I ordered parts. Parts arrived a couple of days later so I opened up the ice maker and found the ice bin to be full! Guess the temp adjustment worked. I just kept the parts for when they are needed. For those unaware, access to the ice maker is really simple. There is a latch on the backside of the door. Remove the two small upper shelves, open the latch and pull the access door open. Nice design. (Mine was very balky but a couple of strong tugs and it opened.) Don't know why GE does not disclose this in their owners manual.
