Description

Keep your dryer drum turning smoothly. This idler & pulley assembly maintains proper tension on the drive belt so the drum rotates quietly and efficiently when the original idler or pulley becomes worn, noisy, or seized. What it does:

• Applies spring-loaded tension to the drive belt for consistent drum rotation
• Provides a smooth rolling surface to minimize belt friction and wear
• Worn/failed parts may cause squealing or chirping, the drum not turning, the belt slipping off or breaking, or a hot rubber smell

What's included:

• One idler and pulley assembly

Install notes:

• Disconnect power; for gas dryers, also shut off the gas supply
• Access the belt path by removing the necessary panels per your service information
• Pull the idler to release belt tension, remove the old assembly, install the new one, and route the belt correctly around the motor and idler
• Manually rotate the drum to verify belt tracking before reassembly and test run
