Kevin K Dallas , GA June 28, 2016 Dishwasher controls were unresponsive would not start I replaced the circuit board behind the pushbuttons. Dennis M Rochester , NY January 09, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GLD4408R10WW On front control panel could not change any settings start washer etc system "locked up" Before ordering the parts (Kit-Main & Tactile Board) I thought I needed, I reviewed some of the previous fixes for this dishwasher advised by AppliancePartsPros. Seeing a couple recommendations I presented to AppliancePartsPro through their convenient website Q/A feature, my washer condition to solicit their input as to what part(s) may be needed. Within 15 minutes they confirmed the part (kit) I needed. I placed the order and it was processed and shipped the same day, arriving within 24 hours. FANTASTIC! Opening the box, the parts were securely wrapped in bubble wrap. That was one of my concerns, receiving electronic circuit boards in the mail (FedEx). Not a problem. Having the part in hand, installation was easy. Not knowing the instruction sheet was tucked away in the box, I have to say, I wish the instruction sheet was attached (taped) to the part so when I pulled the part from the box the instruction would also have come out. A Phillips head screwdriver (8 screws), a Torx head fitting (6 screws), snap out, snap in, re-connect wire harnesses ...and don't forget to "transfer Model Selector Plug (resistor plug) to new control board)!" Power on. Power up. Back in business! As for the five-star rating, I would give you more if that was available! Thanks. Read More... Marc H Edison , NJ December 27, 2014 Appliance: General Electric General Electric GLD4468R10SS The g e gld4468r10ss dishwasher would not run nor respond to the control panel buttons the normal wash & heated dry lamps stayed lit power & power connections were not an issue Your troubleshooting indicated the "main & tactile board" had failed. I checked the door switches for normal operation & ordered the boards as a set. The included instructions were a pleasant surprice, but please not that the board was mounted with seven screw, not six. Also, a jumper block with resistor at position CN680 had to be transferred from the old board to the replacement. Read More...
