Description

The Transmission Pulley Kit is an OEM part for GE washers. It includes nuts, washers, and other key components for connecting the transmission to the drive motor. This kit plays an essential role in transmitting power from the motor to spin the basket and turn the agitator during wash cycles.

Symptoms of a bad transmission pulley kit include:

• The washer not spinning or agitating during cycles
• Grinding or clicking noises coming from the transmission area
• Leaks around the transmission seal or pulley area

Causes can be cracked or worn pulley components, stripped threads, or loosened nuts that no longer secure connections properly. Over time and through repeated use, normal wear and tear affect these transmission parts.

Replacing with a genuine GE kit restores like-new operation, transferring optimized power for various cycles. This OEM GE replacement is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
