Description

This trap duct and felt kit restores the dryer's front airflow path and drum seal. Replacing a damaged duct or worn felt helps maintain proper airflow, improve drying performance, and reduce lint leaks and noise. What it does:

• Routes exhaust air through the lint filter housing to the blower
• Seals the drum front to prevent air leaks and reduce fabric snagging
• Helps address long dry times, lint escaping into the cabinet, and scraping/squealing from a worn front seal
• Replaces cracked, warped, or melted lint trap duct components

What's included:

• One trap duct and one felt seal

Install notes:

• Disconnect power; shut off gas supply for gas dryers before servicing
• Remove top/front panels to access the lint filter housing and front bulkhead; support the drum as needed
• Clean mating surfaces; install the felt with the soft pile facing the drum to form a continuous, even seal
• Reuse original fasteners/hardware; the lint filter seats fully and the drum turns freely before testing
