Description

This magnetron generates microwave energy to heat food in compatible countertop and over-the-range microwaves. Replacing a worn magnetron restores cooking power and helps eliminate uneven heating or failure to heat. What it does:

• Converts high-voltage electrical power into microwave radiation used to cook and reheat food
• Common symptom: oven runs but food doesn't heat or heats very slowly
• May also be needed if you notice loud buzzing, arcing, or burning odors during operation
• Works with the microwave's high-voltage system; other components may also need inspection
