Ralph L Renton , WA May 15, 2015 Appliance: Model JS750SF1SS I broke our ge range glass top After dropping some a stack of cooking pots on the edge of the GE range main glass top surface I called a national appliance company repair service company to get the cost of a replacement glass top less the the burners. Next, I searched the internet for an appliance parts store and found AppliancePartsPros.com and their cost for a GE replacement top was over 50% less including a 1 year warranty. Shipping and handing was extra but reasonable. I called the national repair company again, scheduled an appointment to remove and install the new glass top which they did. The friendly technician did an excellent job. His labor cost was same as if he installed a GE supplied part. And now I have a working range again at half the replacement cost of the national repair company.
