Sam F Deary , ID April 21, 2022 Appliance: Model GE GUD24 I believe the mode shifter was not engaging the drum I purchased a new mode shifter part and replaced the old one. It was difficult mostly because I did not remove the unit from the drum. I could not see underneath and so it took an hour removing the old one. Luckily Appliance Parts Pros had a good diagram of the part plus online help showed were it was located on my particular stacked GE washer dryer. I purchased the part from Appliance Parts Pros and it arrived within a few days and was the OEM as they described. A very honest and dependable company! Renee H Culver , OR April 22, 2026 Turns out just my agitator was broke and cracked someone left heavy nail clippers in a small load of clothing It was super easy- Pop off the top where the fabric softener goes- undid bolt pop out the agitator ( the hardest part getting this out and the new one in). Got the new one lined up push in place use a rubber mallet to secure put in bolt and good to go May I say this company is excellent- great customer service and delivers as said 5 stars all the way.
