Patty R Mandeville , LA January 09, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Washer WPGT9350C0WW Ge profile washer wpgt9350 would not complete spin cycle indicating the load was out of balance this occured even when there was no load in the tub Initially contacted an appliance repair man from a national, reputable company recommended by GE. He diagnosed a water pump problem over the phone. When he arrived to inspect the washer he then made the determination it wasn't the water pump. He attempted to run a spin cycle and received the same messge, load out of balance. He then, I assume through his years of experience, determined that it was a computer problem and recommended replacing the Pwb/pcb Asm-Main. He made this recommendation even though there was no indication the computer was malfunctioning. After paying the service fee, I ordered this part from Appliance Parts Pros. Though not mecanically inclined I can remove and replace four screws. After getting the part the next day and installing it, I received the same error message. I then ran the mechine through it's own, built in, diagnositc test and found out the switch on the Stator Assembly was malfunctioning (the machine told me more than the appliance repair man did and didn't charge me). I repaced the Stator Assembly and the Motor Assembly with Clutch (for good measure). The washer has been working like new. Appliance Parts Pros customer service was very helpful and I was able to return the Pwb/pcb Asm-Main (a very expensive electrical part I was very happy to be able to return). I used the overnight delivery service and received the parts when promised. I would recommend the use of the internet and Appliance Parts Pros over paying a service man $85.00, who didn't have enough expertise to run the machine's dagnostic cycle.
