Theodore S Holland , MI March 26, 2017 The convection motor was not functioning when the control called for it to turn on Removed the lower storage drawer. Removed the burner grates from the gas cook top. Unplugged the power. Pulled the stove out from the counter. Open the oven door. remove the oven racks. Remove the convection fan cover (4 screws). remove the nut holding the fan (note the nut has left hand threads).Remove the protective sheet metal cover from the back of the oven (6 screws), Disconnect the (3) wires from the convection motor (note wire placement). Remove the convection motor (3 screws). Reverse the process to install the new motor. Went very well. You need to pull the oven out for access to the rear panel as well as removing the convection cover inside the oven. Read More...
