Joe M Collegeville , PA March 21, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator PCF23NGWAWW Initial problem was no water had ice though After reading posts on the problem I concluded that the motor and solenoid was OK because I was getting water shooting out in the water line before the water entered the freezer door. At the bottom of the door there is a quick disconnect to check the water before it goes into the freezer door. So, I concentrated on looking at the mechanism that dispensed the water because I read a post that said that the water usually freezes right in the hose before it comes out of the dispenser. I used a heat gun and heated the hose for about 5 minutes. After that, I tried the water and it was coming out the hose but in the process I broke the paddle dispenser. I found the exact paddle dispenser on appliance pros.com, ordered it and when it arrived put it in and now that's working again too.
