Larry L Poway , CA November 10, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Dryer - Frig Gallery GLGQ332AS1 Our dryer didn't heat Being a complete DIY I hate to call some unknown person into my home knowing that just to get them there will cost me more than I will spend for parts that I don't need. After all, they are trying to make a living and by selling me parts that I don't need will increase their profits. I've dealt with APP before and was impressed by their site because I could find both mechanical and electrical drawings for almost everything I have. I looked up my dryer, decided what was probably the problem, added all the parts that I felt were probably OK and gave them a call. The customer rep, bless her heart was absolutely fantastic! She was really on the ball and made ordering all the parts I needed a breeze. A week later, when my parts arrived,( I went with the standard shipping), I installed everything, cleaned the dryer of all the lint I could vacuum out, crossed my fingers and pushed the start button. Son-of-a gun, the dryer works like new! I fixed the darned thing for less than $100 and now am a hero with my wife. Life doesn't get better than that. Joan B West Islip , NY October 01, 2014 Broken handle end caps and worn drip pans The two handles were replaced by loosening two screws at the top of inner door. Then the handle ends were removed by unscrewing the two hex head screws in each one. Then I installed the right side first with the two screws. I inserted the metal handle on the right side and then had to tap the left side end with a rubber mallet, gently, so the screws could be inserted and tightened from the inside. Getting the door reassembled had to be done lying flat on the floor to properly align the inner and Outer door and replace the two screws at the top. Then replaced the door on the hinges.
