Ge WB55X10828 Door Panel, White OEM Part

The new outside arrived the next day. Getting the old one off is fairly easy. The inside of the door is easily removed using a knife to pry it out. The only challenge is making sure the glass is all the way seated. It went in pretty easily, except for the handle. The glass needs to be all the way to the left for the handle to go back in. Other than that this is a very easy fix.

Replaced with new door panel. Had a little trouble reinstalling the outer glass panel in door frame.

Pretty easy. Found an online schematic and video. I was able to disassemble the door and replace the part in about 10 minutes. The entire project took about 30 minutes though, I thoroughly cleaned the other parts of the door - older microwave, pretty greasy in some parts. The best part of this project was the speed in which the part was delivered. The microwave door cracked one day, I ordered the part on my phone as I stood in the kitchen, and then my part was delivered the NEXT DAY. And I didn't request next day shipping! Don't know if the folks at Appliance Parts Pros have a warehouse in the Midwest or what (I live in KC). Alli know is that my microwave broke and I had it fixed within 24 hours. I'll definitely use them again for any DIY appliance repairs in the future. Thanks guys!

Replaced the door. However this is the second door I've replaced in 2 years!

Very easy, remove old frame by using 2" putty knife. Install I found keeping glass to the left and then snapping new door panel in place was a breeze. 15 minutes from taking door off to putting door back on... ANY ONE CAN DO THIS NO PROBLEM !!!!
