Description

A compressor protector that helps prevent compressor damage by interrupting power when the motor overheats or draws excessive current. Replaces a failed protector to restore proper compressor protection and help avoid costly compressor replacement. What it does:

• Senses excessive heat or current at the compressor and opens the circuit to stop the compressor from running.
• Helps prevent compressor burnout and wiring damage caused by overheating or locked-rotor conditions.
• Common symptom linkage: refrigerator runs but cooling is poor or compressor will not start and only hums intermittently.
