Description

This 1/4-inch quick-connect locking clip secures water tubing in push-to-connect fittings on your refrigerator's water and ice system. It locks the tube in place to help prevent leaks and accidental disconnection at the fitting. What it does:

• Locks 1/4-inch OD tubing into compatible push-to-connect fittings
• Helps maintain a secure seal to reduce drips at water line connections
• Replaces a missing, cracked, or loose clip on filter heads, inlet valves, or inline couplers
• Symptoms include leaks at a fitting or a tube that won't stay seated

What's included:

• One 1/4-inch quick-connect locking clip

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing; dispense water to relieve pressure
• Remove the old clip; ensure the tubing end is clean and cut square
• Fully insert the tube into the fitting until it bottoms out, tug lightly to seat, then install the clip in the collet groove
• Restore water and check all connections for leaks

Sizing tip:

• Designed for fittings that use 1/4-inch OD tubing. It will not fit 5/16-inch or 3/8-inch quick-connect fittings.
