Did not fix the problem and the new transformer overheated and failed as well. Your support person suggested the ignition module is bad. I bought a new igniter box and you replaced the transformer. It was fairly simple and straight forward. I usually take a photo of the scene before I start so I have a reminder as to where everything goes if I get distracted. Arthur Z Marietta , GA May 04, 2021 Gas range burner would not light. The igniter was sparking, but the spark did not appear as bright as the other burners. Swapped the burner and lid since that is where contact is made. Did not help. Came to the conclusion it was a faulty igniter.
