Description

This oven temperature sensor monitors interior oven temperature and sends readings to the control board so the oven maintains accurate cooking temperatures. Replacing a faulty sensor restores proper temperature sensing for consistent results. What it does:

• Measures oven cavity temperature and reports it to the range/oven control
• Prevents cycling issues that cause over- or under-heating when sensor fails
• Can cause oven not to reach set temperature, long heat times, or temperature error codes
• Works as the temperature feedback element for bake and broil cycles
