Description

The Silver Drip Tray is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. It is located underneath the evaporator coils and catch pan in the fresh food section of the refrigerator. This drip tray collects and removes condensation and moisture from evaporating during the cooling process.  It channels accumulated water to the drain area via gravity flow, keeping the refrigerator interior dry.

Causes of a bad drip tray can include mineral buildup or debris clogging drainage. Deterioration may also occur from long-term moisture exposure.

Symptoms of a bad drip tray include:
