Description

This drum slide bearing supports the front rim of the dryer drum so it turns smoothly and quietly. Replacing worn slides restores proper drum support, reducing scraping or squealing noises and helping prevent fabric snags at the door opening.

• Provides a low-friction wear surface for the drum edge inside the front bearing
• Helps keep the drum aligned and rotating smoothly
• Common fix for scraping, squealing, or grinding from the front of the drum
• Replace if the slide is worn thin, broken, or you see plastic/metal dust in the front bearing area

What's included: One slide bearing Install notes:

• Disconnect power; for gas dryers, also shut off the gas supply
• Lift the top and remove the front panel to access the front bearing area
• Support the drum, remove the worn slide, and install the new slide in the designated slot on the front bearing
• Inspect remaining slides, the front bearing ring, and felt seals; replace worn components together for even wear
