I'm an amateur DIY. I replaced the filter gasket also as the 13 yr old one was looking pretty shabby. It's not an exact replacement, and I did break one of the plastic pieces that is part of the hold down assembly. For the filter gasket -- look at the aluminum piece on the grommet that holds gasket in place, bend that carefully and remove it so as not to break the plastic that holds it down. Read More...
