Replaced springs, flapper assembly and ice door retainer as described in videos and it was easy. So far so good..water dispenses.

Since both lights were out, I figured it was not the bulbs. The next thing was the fuse. It was not blown. That left the transformer - which I changed. That fixed the lights. The transformer is in a difficult place under the front of the frig in a metal enclosure but once you get the screws out and disconnect the wires, you can get to the transformer. AppliancePartsPros.com sent the correct part quickly. The customer comments in APP reviews did help me as GE support is difficult to find online.

Watched your videos and easily replaced the solenoid, spring, flapper etc. The only reason it took me as long as it did is I have a GE monogram side-by-side in cabinet refrigerator. It is stainless steel and required me to take off all of the stainless steel skin on the freezer side door. While this was not that difficult it was time-consuming.

I watched the video how to swap out the solenoid. I had already replaced the flapper door to the ice dispensing apparatus, so I was familiar with getting at the solenoid. I followed the instructions per the video...twenty minutes after the Fed Ex driver dropped the package, the solenoid was replaced, the door recess crank was replaced and the spring was replaced...the twelve year old ice dispenser is once again operating like we wanted it to.

New solenoid and ice cube flap. Videos were great but my fridge is 16yrs old and corrosion froze the solenoid solid. All went well but the top screw on the solenoid was stripped by a prior repair person. Aboslutely no room to work on it. Using BP corrosion penetrating oil for three days allowed me to wrestle the solinoid from the screw. I could not even drill out the screw. Was able to insert the solenoid under the old screw and is well. Thanks
