The Stator & Speed Sensor w/ Harness is an OEM part for GE washers. This assembly includes the stator, speed sensor, and wiring harness that connects the two components.
The stator is the stationary outer portion of the washing machine motor that generates electromagnetic pulses to power the spinning rotor. The speed sensor detects the rotor's rotational speed and relays this data to the control board via the wiring harness. This allows the board to monitor drum movement and accurately control cycle times based on RPM.
