Joe F Hatfield , PA November 14, 2025 My ge washing machine which is just 4 years old was making a grinding type noise during the wash cycle After looking at the parts break out and researching on line I made the decision to replace the shift actuator, clutch gear and spring, transmission pulley, and drive belt. Operation is normal after the repair but I think the service life of these components is way too short and I intend to keep some replacements in stock for the future. The machine was quit easy to work on, like the old May Tags used to be. I ordered the parts Monday afternoon and they arrived Tuesday morning. Read More...
