I replaced the clutch, clutch spring, and mode shifter. The first thing I replaced was the drive belt but that didn't help. This repair was fairly simple. I bought some grease from Lowe's. No more grinding! I am a 47yo mom with some mechanical ability (e.g. can change the oil in a vehicle) and this repair was easy-took less than an hour.
