Gary B Winchester , KY May 29, 2018 Appliance: Model GE DOUBLE WALL OVENS The broiler element cooked up with sparks of course I asked my wife if she accidentally pushed for broil and not bake as intended, and she didn't think so. She had me there why the broiler element was activated, and later read that the bake and broiler element will sequentially operate to heat up oven. Anyway she threw baking soda in there onto the sparks, more mess. I didn't realize one side of element was hot and a little more sparking back there when changing it.
