David C Lexington , SC April 15, 2025 Appliance: Model 35 YEAR OLD GE COUNTERTOP ELECTRIC RANGE Burner would not heat The problem was two fold. The burner element insulator had broken and detached near the socket. And the socket was obsolete and no longer available. The connection in the socket had apparently been arcing and significantly overheated. A new burner element and a universal socket of a slightly different design work out perfectly for this application. Read More...
