They suggested it might be the door lock switch told how to test switches one was bad so I went to your web site and ordered a new switch. Received in two days installed it and it is working great cost only 15.00 with shipping .Was so happy to fix it with very little cost .I am a 70 year old woman and love a challenge plus I don't have a lot of extra cash . Francene G Fort Myers , FL November 11, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Microwave JVM1540DM5WW Over the stove microwave would not heat (only 2 years old) I goggled why my microwave would not heat and found an article on Appliance pros of 3 possibilities. 2 easy to fix..so I started with the first one which was the door switches. Followed the instructions and found the switches,removed them, brought them to my local Ace hardware to check connectivity. 2 of the 3 switches where bad. Came home and ordered the parts from Appliance Pro on Wednesday and had a working microwave on Friday. Thank you to Appliance Pro!!! Saved me $400.00 for a new microwave. I am a 51 year old female who doesn't do this sort of thing on a daily basis. Shad F Cumming , GA August 01, 2015 Microwave turn table and magnatron was not working Looked on Youtube to diagnose problem and sure enough figured out it was a faulty interlock switch. We were thinking of spending another $200 on a new microwave but only spent $5 on a new switch and $10 on a multimeter to determine which switch was faulty.
