Description

This microwave magnetron thermostat is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is used in microwave ovens to prevent fires and extensive damage to the machine if the magnetron overheats. If the thermostat reaches an unsafe temperature, determined by the factory, it will stop the microwave from cooking. If this happens, the magnetron thermostat may be the culprit and should be replaced. A built-in safety feature will prevent the microwave from working until the thermostat is replaced. To start, disconnect the power from the microwave. Use a screwdriver to remove the trim kit. Use a safety drill bit to remove the microwave panels. Locate the thermostat that is connected to the magnetron. To start, disconnect the wires and remove the thermometer from the microwave. Install the new thermostat and connect the wires.
