The timer would not quit buzzing

We replaced the whole timer/clock unit. After discussing the matter with Robin on Thursday night to ensure we were doing the right thing, we ordered the part Friday afternoon, it arrived Saturday morning, and my husband installed the new timer/clock unit before I got home from lunch.
