Description

The Timer regulates the sequence and duration of dishwasher cycles. It advances power to each component in order so the machine washes, drains, and dries at the correct times for dependable operation.

• Controls and advances the dishwasher through each programmed step
• Routes power to the fill valve, wash motor, drain pump, and heater in sequence
• Failure can cause the cycle not to start or advance, to stop mid-cycle, or to run too long
• Intermittent contacts may lead to skipped steps or inconsistent drying/heating

• Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing
• Access the control/console area; remove the knob and mounting hardware as needed
• Label or photograph wire positions; transfer wires to the new timer one at a time
