Bob H Laramie , WY December 23, 2014 The unicouple assembly was not keeping a tight seal water was spraying and dripping from it AUsing the model number of the dishwasher, I located the part onling. After ordering the unicouple assembly from Appliance Parts Pros, which arrived very promptly at my home, I began to take the back and top off the dishwasher. There are two screws at the front top of the diswasher which hold on the top. It can then be slid off. I believe there were four screws on the back which allowed me to remove the back and sides. I tipped the dishwasher on its face so I could see the underside and removed the two hoses. I pulled the unicouple assembly out of the diswaher, carefully observing how the hoses ran through it. Then I threaded the new assembly and hoses back in I attached the new hoses, put everything back together and tested the new coupling, which worked well. Patrick L Paris , KY February 02, 2015 Appliance: Model GE GLC4400R10WW Dishwasher would not pump out water after each cycle It was a combination of problems, but the part that brought the dishwasher back to full functioning was the Unicouple hose attachment. Even though the thing was not quite four years old, it had already clogged. Removal and replacement was very easy. Since this was a portable dishwasher, I shop-vac'd all of the water out of it, and turned it over to lay on the front which gave me full access to the hose connections. All I needed was a Phillips screwdriver to move a brace out of the way and a 5/16 inch socket to loosen the drain hose clamp and the inlet hose was hand tight so I was able to remove it without difficulty. Pulled the old hose out the top, fed the new hose in reverse and reconnected. Less than 15 minutes total. Very satisfying to see a full stream of water draining from the hose.
