How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4345864 / WD24X10042 Unicouple Asm

It was a combination of problems, but the part that brought the dishwasher back to full functioning was the Unicouple hose attachment. Even though the thing was not quite four years old, it had already clogged. Removal and replacement was very easy. Since this was a portable dishwasher, I shop-vac'd all of the water out of it, and turned it over to lay on the front which gave me full access to the hose connections. All I needed was a Phillips screwdriver to move a brace out of the way and a 5/16 inch socket to loosen the drain hose clamp and the inlet hose was hand tight so I was able to remove it without difficulty. Pulled the old hose out the top, fed the new hose in reverse and reconnected. Less than 15 minutes total. Very satisfying to see a full stream of water draining from the hose. 

Ordered the hoses and installed them!
