This surface burner valve regulates gas flow to a single top burner on your range, delivering smooth flame control. Replace a worn or leaking valve to resolve ignition problems and uneven flame performance.

• Regulates gas flow to the surface burner as you turn the knob
• Works with the igniter/orifice to light the burner
• Failure symptoms include: burner won't light or delayed ignition; flame won't adjust or is uneven
• Other signs: knob hard to turn or gas odor at the valve stem

What's included: One surface burner valve. Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply before servicing; allow the appliance to cool.
• Remove the knob and access panel; note the valve's orientation and label igniter wire and gas tube locations.
• Transfer the orifice holder and any mounting hardware from the old valve if required.
• After reconnecting, restore gas and check all joints for leaks with a noncorrosive leak-detection solution before use.
