Joe P Spring , TX August 23, 2016 Appliance: General Electric General Electric GFE29HSDASS Im water and iso valve failure Removed metal plate from rear base of the fridge, noticed leak, replaced both valves. The water line tubing goes into valves with small plastic retainer rings and lock teeth. Main line connects to water valve with small nut. You can cut the tubing to remove old valve or take off retainer ring and pull the tubing loose. I use small screws from old valves to connect the new assemblies.
