Joshua G Richardson , TX February 14, 2015 Flooding issue I originally thought it was the water level switch, but my problem persisted. Looked around more and found out the culprit was the water inlet valve. Went nice and easy at a good price. Will stick to using appliance parts pros. I enjoy all of the information they have available and the repair videos, plus they offer their parts at prices that are in line w/ other suppliers. Forrest J Nashville , TN March 15, 2014 Appliance: Model S1070A3WW Clothes Washing machine ran approximently three tub fulls of water onto floor. After manually shutting off the machine, I got on the internet to determine what the cause of the problem could be. I found the AppliancePartsPros.com website which in very simple, easy to understand terms explained what the problem was and even a short, to the point, easy to understand video on how to make the repair. I was most favorably impressed with this website, so I decided to order the part reccomended. In only 2 days I had the part, ( the water control valve ) in my hands and made the repair in a snap. So simple and easy to do. I am sure this simple repair would have cost me $ 200.00 if a tech. had come out to make the repair. My total cost was only $ 37.00 , and it works like a new machine now. I highly reccomend this company. Read More... 17 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
Norma M Torrance , CA January 18, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Washer WBXR1060T3WW Water fill wouldn't shut off After I ordered the water level switch and hose I checked with the tenant and was told that he had to shut off the water at the wall to stop the fill (shutting off the washer didn't shut off the water). From this I concluded that I needed to replace the water fill valve. Once I had the parts I went ahead and changed both the fill valve and the water level switch, although I did not bother to replace the tube, just blew through it to confirm that it wasn't plugged. The most time consuming part of the repair was running the machine through both cycles to confirm that the parts replacements fixed the problem.
