David H Needham , MA May 15, 2015 Appliance: Model GE MODEL GSH25JFXBWW The water coming from the ice maker and water dispensor had a foul odor and taste even after changing the filter I replaced the supply line to the fridge - no change in taste. I replaced the MWF manifold and tubes, the water inlet valve and the water storage line. That did it, good tasting water again! The ice still has a bad taste, so I'll replace the supply tube from the valve to the ice maker. Overall, replacing these parts was easy and the videos from Appliance Parts Pros helped. Cynthia H Coarsegold , CA June 28, 2017 My refrigerator was leaking water from underneath additionally the water and ice dispenser was not dispensing much ice or water After chatting with an appliance parts pro person, I was able to narrow down which parts I needed to buy. I ended up replacing the water inlet valve, the cold water reservoir and a drain tube. I have never really repaired anything like this before, but as a recent widow, I knew I needed to learn. Appliance Parts Pros made it super simple with their videos. It took me quite a bit longer than the people in the videos, but that was just because I rewatched sections of the videos several times to make sure I didn't mess things up. I would definitely use this website again if I need to fix an appliance. I highly recommend Appliance Parts Pros. Scott R Wilmington , IL February 14, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator GSS20IEMDWW Leaking waterline Followed one of many repair videos online. The fitting that hold the waterline ends need pliers to clamp and pull the line out so its a bit awkward. It doesn't take a strong effort it just needs a slight push in. I guess they keep the line secure and water from leaking. Replacing the waterline was simpler. The waterlines push into these fittings and are held snugly. The big problem was the line got kinked after I put it in. You have to put the line in the same spot as the old one. It's a tight fit. Once it kinks it stays kinked. I had to cut a few inches off fortunately there was still enough and I got the end in and it didn't kink. That's it!
